To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

MoldyRiceFrenzy Wilds Pathfinder Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Santa Rosa, CA Guild: Confusion in The Ranks[tArD] Profession: Mo/W	What's with these shields??? Not sure if its possible, but to me perfect modded shields have never appeared and i've never heard of anyone ever finding an actual shield beside greens or collector with perfect stats. We can find perfect weapon mods and staff mods, but whats with these imperfect shield or hand-off items which are basically good looking crap. Its so easy to get a perfect shield from the collectors(most of the time) than now it feels like they are all the same, such like pvp shield.I would like to be able to find shields with perfect mods. Such mods may be +45, -2 damage reduce while in stance or the same while in enchanted, but I have never seen an irregular shield which is not blue or green with those mods.So I'm pleading that N-net lets us the rpgers to actually be able to find perfect modded shields in which we can better distinguish ourselves without using crap that looks good but has no reliable mods in which we may feel like our characters are still powerful creations made by us.
